The excuse of ignorance
Shaykh Hafiz al Hakami (rahimahu Allah) in (Maarij al Qubool) (3/1229: said
But, those from them, who we know that their intention has been set for demolition of religion bases, and they are doubting its people about it, we are so sure about their Disbelief, they are foreigners and strangers from the religion, and they are his greatest enemies. Others, who were being conned, and being confused (1), those we judge them by Disbelief ,that's after we had established the proof against them, and we'll be binding them tightly by that.

Being confused, what it means and what makes it happen? They have a blind spot: that they have an inability to recognize the fact or think clearly, those for them the truth surrounded by a mystery haze.
